Civil Defence training sessions yesterday gave Totana and basic information about 300 students from the school "James" for how to act in case of an earthquake.
Schoolchildren were accompanied by municipal technicians and Emergency Service volunteers from the Association of Civil Protection in Totana, as well as the new councilman Francisco Hernández Guerrero.
During the sessions, the technicians noticed some rules or seismic emergency recommendations and explained how to act before, during and after earthquakes, and the precautions to be taken in case of being inside a structure.
Interested schools can apply for the completion of these presentations to the next school year 2011/2012 in the Department of Education of the City of Totana or through the Association of Civil Protection in Totana.
