Corporation Dear colleagues, Madam Secretary, dear friends of politics, my friends all very good morning.
I wish, to take the floor first as Mayor of Totana, my first feelings are shared, feelings of congratulations and thanks.
Thanks and congratulations to the city of Totana which again, using democratic sovereignty on May 22, has placed its confidence in the Municipal Corporation, so that during the next four years to represent, govern and manage in taking responsibility name of what is public, what is everyone's.
Totana democratic citizens have decided how this representation.
Therefore, from today, all Aldermen and Councillors of the Corporation are called to fulfill the obligation entrusted to none other than the own contribution of each to achieve the common good.
Toward that common good should be directed all the performances, each from the perspective of their own ideas, but while respecting the ideological thinking of the other, so that the ideas that each profess and which have brought us here do not overlap with the general interest of the city that everyone should.
In this task I would summon all.
Fulfill our obligations to make Totana a city in which no distinction harm anyone.
I am quite sure that each of us, from the place that corresponds to the mandate of the citizens, let us do our best not to disappoint them this important flow of confidence.
I congratulate all the councilors of the Corporation is now constituted.
Regardless of the application of which we were part and ideological affiliation of each.
The totaneros entrusted to us each and every one of us an important task: to work for our City, its present and its future.
As for the thanks, I would like to thank also the people of Totana and the confidence you have placed in me and my colleagues.
This confidence is a big responsibility, but also a great hope and a challenge I'm sure I could cope with guaranteed success.
I want to thank my fellow party members and my friends all the work done in recent months and the council members who accompanied me in the work of municipal government in the legislature for accepting the responsibility and challenge that I proposed.
I'm sure all-capable and workers as they are-are at the level of work required of them.
And of course, also acknowledge the support I received from my family.
Of my children, Laura and Sunday, my mother, my brother, and especially the support of my husband, Domingo.
Nor would forget to express publicly, on a day like today, a full appreciation of admiration and affection for José Martínez Andreo, outgoing mayor of Totana.
Totana has had the privilege of having a mayor like him, leaving a very high standard.
Thank you very much, dear Pepe.
Thank you very much everybody.
Really.
Will understand that today, when I am speaking in my first intervention and as mayor, feelings crop up abruptly with so many memories that have shaped my life.
They say, and I assure you it is true that the greatest honor you can have a politician is to become mayor of his city.
Certainly it is a big responsibility.
I am the first mayor of Totana, a stranger to some of you until recently.
But those who know me know that I have that experience and enthusiasm and desire to work will be hard to beat.
Totanera society determined by their votes last May 22 that the enormous social capital is managed in the next four years by the Popular Party to which I belong.
The pride and joy for the great election results have also harvested for us a counterpart: the huge responsibility we have just collapsed.
Totana is facing major new challenges set by the socio-economic, political challenges, challenges posed by progress in improving public services, in the sound management of resources and the continued and effective adaptation to new needs and new times.
The new municipal government team will focus on real Totana and that means talking about the real problems of our neighbors.
We will also make our voice heard where it is necessary to demand what is ours by right: the water they need our field, our industry and our city to grow and develop.
Continue to improve efficiency in the provision of municipal services, we create the right framework in Totana to attract investors and our companies totaneras, help the courageous entrepreneurs who settle in our county, continue to support our farmers and ranchers our merchants and artisans, entrepreneurs, freelancers, small and medium enterprises in general.
We are committed to Totana tourism has a role in the start of this crisis.
Continue working to improve care, welfare and living standards of the totaneros.
In short, the quality of life for all our neighbors.
The struggle for a stable and quality employment and do not miss out on new technologies work for diversifying the local economy, balancing growth with environment, promote training and development will be other targets for these four years.
The scenario is not easy.
Toca manage scarcity, revive the economy, create jobs as a key priority, to address unforeseen problems.
Toca generate enthusiasm and confidence in a skeptical and disillusioned society.
The social consensus is vital for the progress of Totana.
Do not give up keep working so that we can separate issues than those that prevail, but is also here, the solidarity that is imposed.
Solidarity and loyalty will make no challenge, however difficult it may seem, is beyond our reach and allow us to address the road to recovery with an eye toward a fundamental goal: the creation of employment.
Employment is the foundation for growth, the best guarantee of economic recovery, the support of social policy, investment and stability.
But above all, employment is an individual matter, a right of every person, in his absence, a drama that we are obliged to solve all soon.
Job creation is more of a priority, an obligation that we must all become involved.
Everyone from our plot, but together, from the unity and common commitment.
Also claim their local funding, which is like saying the financing of much of the public services they receive from citizens, global vision, collectively, equal and, in this case, solidarity.
The provision of basic services that guarantee the welfare state is beyond doubt.
It is important that at this time, which confirmed the desire for reconciliation and moderation, remember our commitment, more alive than ever, to accomplish the mission as mayor and members of the Corporation has been entrusted to us all: to protect the interests of all the totaneros.
The tireless work, permanent dialogue and closeness to the real problems totaneros, without these three pillars and, crucially, not our desire to always work as decided by the people of Totana, our role in the City would not make sense.
And that's what we want to apply, work with the greatest sense of common sense.
Therefore, I reach out at this very moment all the political forces of the Corporation.
All this morning we sit here we have a democratic legitimacy that we give thousands of totaneros who have placed their trust in us.
I do not forget it.
Totana needs all of us, and we all have to work for Totana and its citizens.
We must focus on political issues of interest to totaneros, try to find the points of convergence and institutional relations normalize.
Therefore, I invite everyone to agree and, from the logical ideological discrepancy, which is healthy in any society democratically mature and get to work together for the future of this city that everyone - not doubt me " we are alike.
Therefore, I want my office door is open to the public.
I also express my desire to be the mayor of all totaneros, regardless of ideology and beliefs of each.
Starting today, we are all clear what the duties that we have put the totaneros: about, manage and develop a government program, and others, monitor and control the work of government.
Hall doors are open to everyone.
For any problems the totaneros can count on the support and help of its mayor and the people who make up the new government team.
From City Hall, I'll have the honor of presiding over today, I will devote all my energies, like all people who join me in this journey of government.
I want to express my will, our will, to share in this project to society as a whole totanera.
I offer my loyalty, my devotion, body and soul, my dedication and conviction that together, I insist, together, we will collect the fruits of the crops over the years, always with professionalism and exceptional skills of the workforce of Ayuntamiento de Totana, who, when they are known, and they are admired.
I have before me a huge responsibility and an exciting challenge.
I assure you that I will spare no effort or enthusiasm.
I promise I will do my best to serve the task of Totana.
I face the time to come forward, with hope, strength, with the confidence that gives us know that we have your support, your encouragement and your support.
Thank you very much everybody.
