Councilwoman functions Crafts, Isabel Maria Sanchez, has reiterated the commitment of the City of Totana artisan working with industry through the Association of Towns of Ceramics (AECC) to drive in this way the actions carried out by craftsmen Totana potters.
The mayor, who has participated this weekend in the Executive Committee was held in Agost (Alicante), has shown interest to continue working through the AECC to artisans to promote their products Totana and benefit from the actions taken by the association.
During the workshop, the municipalities members of the Committee discussed the objectives have been met this year through which it has obtained approval of products for use in hotels, the choice of the AECC to qualify for a national award for promotion, or success of the first days of pottery techniques that took place in Totana.
Also analyzed the situation of the Spanish Association (composed of 37 municipalities municipalities of Spain) after the holding of municipal elections.
One of the objectives of the AECC is to start the commitment of the new municipal corporations in its commitment to this partnership and to exploit this situation for the inclusion of new municipalities in the same potters.
