Psychosocial Support Services of the City of Totana, in the very near future Day Centre for Mentally Ill, has organized an outlet to the Environmental Education Center "Torre CEMACAM Gil", belonging to the Caja de Ahorros del Mediterraneo, located in Sangonera The Green.
This time users were accompanied by a group of students and professionals in the Day Centre intellectual disabilities, who wanted to join this training experience, whose aim was to promote positive values ​​and attitudes toward our environment as well as to encourage their personal and social autonomy.
A total of 44 people between users and professionals traveled on a bus adapted to the natural environment, that following the visit of the facilities conducted workshops bioclimatic Health, Hygiene and Cosmetics with Natural Products and Traditional Use of Plants.
After the activity each user received a pot of rosemary, for they will never forget the experience and lessons learned.
SAP sources, include personal enrichment and adaptation so positive that showed all users with the rest of their peers as well as the change that marks a break with the daily routine as eating out was also incorporated in the buffet Centre.
