Hospitality sector specializes in the execution of an introductory course to cut ham that has been taught by the maestro José Andreo.
The City Council of Totana, following the guidelines set by the Strategic Tourism Plan has worked with the implementation of this training in the hospitality which will be conducted by maestro José Andreo on "Introduction to cutting ham."
Participants who have completed the course in the restaurant Amaro have known practical technique cut ham, learn where to start a jam and how to know the piece, appellations of origin, choice of ham, conservation and equipment necessary , among other things.
The acting mayor of Tourism, Maria Isabel Sánchez Ruíz, presented the diplomas along with the head of its organization, José Andreo, which has had the participation of the Association of Hoteliers of Totana.
Sánchez Ruíz said that this training is seen as one of the short term that are taking place within the Tourism Strategic Plan, because, according to the mayor, a cornerstone of the revitalization of the economy is tourism.
Totana, according to the mayor, has all the tourism resources and it is time to empower them strategically.
