A fair share of 25,000 euros and restaurateurs can get a 25 percent subsidy on investment for every thousand euros for purchase
The Plenum of the Corporation approved unanimously yesterday by political groups to offer support for caterers to bring the terraces and amend Ordinance Regulating the Installation of Hotel Terrazas in the Public Highways to expedite the procedures for installing terraces to the losses that are already included among the caterers for the smoking ban.
The Councillor for Citizen Participation, Juan Carrion, and the councilman of Commerce, María Isabel Sánchez Ruíz, have presented these two proposals have been developed for their local areas and Public Safety.
Carrion explained that in the lines of the government team to bet on the productive sectors in order to revive the economy, will develop these measures so that hoteliers can have a support for the adaptation of the terraces with acquisition of furniture and stoves.
The mayor has indicated that the adoption of this Ordinance, while helping hoteliers, is ensured by rest and civic life among residents of the municipality.
So from now on will have terraces opening hours and closed.
The start time in the exercise of the activity of the terrace will be: Monday through Thursday starting at eight o'clock and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays at 09:00 hours.
Also, the closing time or the cessation of the activity of terrace will be: October 1 to May 31 Sunday through Thursday, up to 00:00 hours of the morning the next day, from Friday to Saturday and eves, up until 01:00 hours of the morning the next day.
On the other hand, from 1 June to 30 September will be: Sunday through Thursday, up until 01:00 hours of the morning the next day, Friday to Saturday and eve of holidays, up to 02.00 hours Early the next morning.
For its part, the mayor of Commerce has said it will go a game in the 2011 budget of 25,000 euros for those hosts who bring their terraces, or put new ones that will rise to 25 percent per thousand euros of investment.
Sánchez Ruiz explained that aid may be cafes, bars and restaurants that have all the permits and should seek help at the General Register of the City.
The mayor explained that given the constraints posed by the exercise of the smoking ban for restaurants and inns that are doing Totana with significant losses for this reason the City will implement this measure to help all catering in the municipality.
