More than 200 vehicles and 400 people were accredited to participate in the Tourist Route for Rare Diseases Totana who left towards the Sierra de Maria on Sunday on 06 February.
Quads, road bikes, custom bikes and classic cars were on hand to claim the needs of those affected by rare diseases and to convey the theme of World Day for Rare Diseases "For equal opportunities for people with rare diseases" .
The route took her departure in Totana Constitution Square at about 10 am and arrived 2 hours after the Sierra de María without incident.
Later a reception was held at City Hall by the mayor of Sierra de María, Rafael Garcia, where the president of the Association D'Genes, Naca Eulalia Pérez de Tudela, was presented with the typical clay jar town of Totana, the mayor and representatives of the participating clubs.
Naca wanted a few words of thanks to all involved on the successful development and the great assistance that led to the success of this route.
Participating clubs were: Quad Action Club Totana, Alhama Custom Motorcycle Club, Motorcycle Club Gusts of Totana, Classic Vehicle Association of Totana, Totana Custom Motorcycle Club, Peña Barcelonista of Totana, 2cv Vehicle Club Murcia Vehicle Club Mazarrón Club and Friends of the Vespa of Aledo.
