Faced with cuts in budgets, personnel, grants and educational programs conducted by the Ministry of Education of the Region of Murcia from earlier this year, ASSOCIATIONS OF MOTHERS AND FATHERS OF SCHOOLS, Nursery, Primary and Secondary, we express our profound disagreement with measures that are reducing the allocation of resources and educational benefits hitherto enjoyed in our region.
The reasons for this disagreement are:
1.
The staff cuts, teacher @ sy teachers, which will entail the templates reduce secondary schools, becoming the same as five years ago, 2006, and that will mean in some cases more than 10 percent cut of teachers in schools.
2.
Cuts in operating budgets for schools, which can become almost 20 percent, undermining the normal functioning of schools.
3.
The complete elimination of funding for the program BONOLIBRO, the damage will mean for many families.
4.
Not meet the low teacher to last approximately fifteen days of its inception, leading to an alteration in the continuing education of our children s.
5.
Compensatory education cuts, reduce staff support, school libraries, special education programs, care of ill students at home, bilingual programs, language assistants, reinforcements and educational support, will be restricted while the care student diversity will be worse served by the educational system.
To which binds functional impairment Guidance Teams.
With less support, l @ s @ s s teacher can not devote the time necessary to @ s alumn @ s with special needs, both those who do not reach normal levels and those who surpass them.
6.
To date l @ s @ s teacher s teacher, were responsible for many extracurricular activities, even outside of school hours, and we ask the administration to assess this situation, so that these activities will continue to make, recognizing the effort and dedicated employees in their development.
7.
We demand the immediate implementation and retroactively to compensate the two-year delay in the Region of Murcia with respect to other regions, 2.0 school program that will adapt to the twenty-first century teaching and learning, giving students Key knowledge and tools for personal and professional development, promoting human capital and social cohesion, and eliminating the barriers of digital divide with other communities.
The program would provide each classroom in grades 5 and Primary 6 and 1 and 2 of High whiteboard and Internet connection, and each student @ would have personal computer for use as a tool of class work and at home.
8.
Asked for an explanation of why spending is cut in the basic pillars of our society (education and health).
So we asked for the support of all citizens by signing this manifesto:
- "MORE CUTS IN EDUCATION, LESS FUTURE FOR THE REGION."
