Councilman Development, Employment and Economic Development City of Totana, José Antonio Valverde Queen has offered the training that will develop over the last quarter of this year, courses that are subsidized by the Regional Employment Service and Formation (SEF) and financed by the European Social Fund (ESF).
The program of this free training activities, which are aimed mainly at unemployed people, start with the "Basic Course Maintenance Building" with a duration of 300 hours and the course "Specialist in School Children", 200 hours.
Both for about fifteen people, respectively, and will be developed initially in the morning.
It has also organized the course "Cooking Cold and Warm parfait, which is for twelve people working in SMEs or autonomous, and that will last for 30 hours.
In addition, the mayor pointed out that the City of Totana is developing the Escuela Taller "Casa de las Monjas", which is allowing 32 students, unemployed workers under 25 years training in traditional trades such as carpentry, masonry and electricity, to rehabilitate Casa de las Monjas and Youth Hostel.
In the same vein, Valverde has been reported that Queen has applied for a grant to the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment for the implementation of the "Initial Vocational Training Program" in the form Workshop Professional with the profile "Services Aesthetic assistants.
This program duration course is aimed at young people between 16 and 21.
In addition, the City Council is boosting employment and promoting the employability of vulnerable groups through the project Murcia Rural Employment Activa (mappers), involving two other municipalities, Puerto Lumbreras and Cieza.
This project, which will run until June 2011, as reported by the mayor, is intended to encourage employees in the three municipalities of the same social and professional integration of groups with integration difficulties such as women, long-term unemployed, people with disabilities or young people under 30 years, mainly through training and counseling, and promote the implementation of social accountability measures in the three municipalities.
Specifically, in Totana actions will be directed to the collective training of women and will start a course of more than 400 hours on "Home Help".
Finally, since this Council is still working on training for both employed and unemployed workers, where it is intended that, in short, pending resolution of grant by the relevant regional body, it is possible the implementation of courses such as Management Accounting and Management Labor Mechanized, Autocad, English, Celador, Graphic Design, Health and Safety at Work, among others.
