The Councillor for Planning and Sustainable Development, María José Bedia, accompanied by the village headman, Julián Muñoz, visited this morning the state of work on the new social center of the hamlet of El Alto to check Raiguero putting them before opening ceremony to be held on Thursday 5 August at 21:00.
The proposed infrastructure is based on a city-owned parcel, located in the deputation of the Raiguero Alto, and the works have been carried out by a reform of the old school, an existing building from the 40 who had a school distribution unit, and currently works have been adequate for current use of local social
Building, as reported by the mayor, is designed adapted for people with physical disabilities, including, new doors, adapted toilets and changing rooms and ramps in all areas with slopes.
This infrastructure also hosts the first floor in the call center of the hamlet, while the remaining units will be used for the use and enjoyment of residents and the various activities organized by various associations of this council totanera.
With the execution of these works, which were awarded an amount of 50,000 euros are being implemented by the local company "Building Vidalia, SL, and financed from the State Fund for the Promotion of Local Employment and Sustainability 2010, will cover the need for sufficient resources to encourage individuals and groups in the area, whatever their place of residence, to equalize their opportunities for participation and social development.
Thus, it seeks to respond to demands made by neighborhood residents of this hamlet.
