The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and Council Member of Celebration, Josefa María Sánchez, attended the Mass celebrated in honor of Santa Marta, patron saint of innkeepers, which took place in La Santa.
To honor the patron saint of restaurateurs, some owners of bars and restaurants have closed their businesses Totana to go to deliver a bouquet of flowers to Santa Eulalia in the Sanctuary, in honor of those killed in the trade.
During the celebration of Mass, which was officiated by the pastor of Santiago, Francisco Fructuoso, the innkeepers have made a wreath at the town's patron saint, Santa Eulalia, asking health and work, among other things.
As has become traditional tradition, the Association of Hoteliers of the town has organized a series of events to celebrate the day of its patron saint, Santa Marta, which will be developed throughout the day in the hamlet of La Santa.
The ceremony started at noon with a Mass and later, industry professionals held a meal of living with various activities.
