So, has released the mayor of Services explained that through this project, which includes an investment of close to 500,000 euros, the residents of this area does not suffer more water shortages that occur during the summer season by population increase.
Lopez recalled that usually at night, water shortages occur in this area because the reservoir of the Virgen de la Huerta is usually filled during the night and takes about 8 hours to charge water.
The mayor has said that this project is to follow the line taken by the government team and its commitment to the neighborhood in which it was agreed to find a solution to give an effective response to this problem.
In this sense, Councilman Services has advanced to the Director General of Water, has pledged to give a concrete solution for funding for this project that will address current water demands and future.
The mayor has indicated that it carried out the installation of a pipeline from a new part of drive to the reservoir of the Virgen de Las Huertas will have a length of two kilometers and allow the tank to fill a hundred percent in less than three hours.
With this water project, as explained Sergio Lopez, the mayor will ensure supply of this area of Totana especially in the summer which is when most problems occur.
