The Tourist Information Office Totana has received more than 3,000 domestic and foreign tourists (19/07/2010)

The Tourist Information Office Totana has received more than three thousand queries both direct and through e-mail and phone since last January until earlier this month of July 2010, most of them on both the city of Totana and its most emblematic monuments and sites.

The Tourist Office of Totana, under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Region of Murcia has been awarded the Certificate of Quality ISO 9001, has recorded in its list of data collection a total of 3,167 visits to the municipality totanero between those made by domestic and foreign tourists.

Thus, this figure shows that the majority of the number of visits, about 2,628 have been made by visitors to national and regional origin while a total number of 539, were of foreign origin.

To facilitate this information has created a new website www.turismo.totana.es that opens the doors of our town and aims to establish direct communication with visitors and tourists.

In addition, users can also ask for tourist information of municipalities in the region, thanks to the computer program "Rhythm" that binds the 30 tourist offices in Murcia and constantly updates its data and may request information on festivals, attractions accommodations, so the rest of the region.
