A total of 300 children and young people enjoy Totana since last week in the various activities undertaken by the Youth Council during the month of July under the "Summer Joven'2010", among which camps and summer schools are held these days in schools "Santiago", "Reina Sofia" and "Tierno Galván.
The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and the councilman of Youth and Children, Josefa Sanchez, today visited the second round of summer camps "Classrooms of Nature" organized by the City Council in the natural setting of "The Stables" Sierra Espuña.
This year there are a total of 90 children who will participate in two summer camps, whose shifts are held each July 1 to 7 and another 12 to 18 July with 45 students each.
The camps are organized by the Youth Council and have the cooperation of the General Directorate of Natural Heritage and Biodiversity and the company doing the camps "Ecoespuña", in which activities related to diverse and dynamic environment, games , workshops, crafts, among others.
Among the activities carried out as explained Juan Jose Robles, coordinator responsible for "Ecoespuña", found the green gymkhana, adventure games such as zip, activities dedicated to maintaining the environment, recreational games night walks and swimming pool, among other issues.
Both the mayor of Youth and the mayor thanked the work done by the specialized company monitors over the course of the camps.
The council has explained that with this Classrooms camps Nature intended, among other things, to promote respect for the environment, discover the natural and cultural values of this nature.
Sanchez has stated that with these initiatives, encourages collaborative and inclusive work group and the attitudes of camaraderie and respect for others and the environment through play.

For his part, Mayor of Totana recalled that the project "Summer Youth 2010" will get more than 300 children and youth in the municipality engaged in activities relating to gambling, sports and nature, and stressed that the degree of acceptance is high given that over 90% of users repeat activities over the previous year.
The mayor encouraged users and neighbors to participate in scheduled activities and suggest other proposals to make the program for next year.
Among the activities that remain within the "Summer Joven'2010" include, according to Sanchez Mendez explained that there are still places to travel to Malaga, Ibiza, the Pyrenees and Terra Mitica, so it encouraged young people to learn about same Sociocultural Center Jail.
