The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and Councilman and Comprehensive Maintenance Services of the City, Sergio Lopez, have held this morning a meeting with union representatives of the Company's General to report on their future employment situation, forecasting payments and the new bidding process to be carried out of waste collection service and interior cleaning.
The mayor has given the union leaders a message of "peace", since much has been done by the municipality during the last month and a half to get the new garbage collection service and quality is maintained most of jobs.
Thus, political representatives have informed the workers that the company The General is committed to making payments of wages from 12 to 15 July.
In addition, the mayor has made an assessment of the steps that have been carried out since The General reported on his leaving the service.
With the new bid, as reported by the mayor of Services, will move from an excellent service to quality service, as it will reduce the budget of 1,300,000 euros.
