The Local Government Board has agreed to formalize, at the proposal of the Councilor for Heritage, a collaboration agreement with the company "Tecsycon, SL", concessionaire of the exploitation of the underground parking and commercial premises of the Balsa Vieja square to set standards about the cleaning of the access stairway to the "Gregorio Cebrián" Exhibition Hall.

Totana City Council and this company, as the contractor of the construction, installation and exploitation works by concession of said infrastructure, signed an administrative contract on May 21, 1991 with a duration of 50 years.

In May 2001, the Consistory rescued this concession in relation to one of the commercial premises, located in the first basement, where the Municipal Exhibition Hall "Gregorio Cebrián" is currently located.

In this infrastructure there is a staircase that starts from the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja and gives direct access to the "Gregorio Cebrián" Exhibition Hall and a warehouse (basement first), as well as the underground parking.

With this agreement they want to establish the rules that will govern the cleanliness of this staircase that allows access to the Exhibition Hall and the underground parking.

In this way, the cleaning of the staircase will be done twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays.

If any of these days is a holiday, the cleaning corresponding to that day will be made on the immediately following business day.

This cleaning is understood as the staircase itself, as well as walls, landings, railing, litter bins, lighting, and so on.

The cleaning referred to in this agreement is limited to the part of the aforementioned staircase that goes from the access by Plaza de la Balsa Vieja to the first basement;

and does not include cleaning the stair part that goes from the basement first to the second basement.

Therefore, the parties agree to carry out said cleaning at 50%, six months a year each.

Totana City Council will be responsible for cleaning the months of January, February, March, October, November and December;

while "Tecsycon SL" will be responsible for cleaning the months of April, May, June, July, August and September.
