Neighbors and visitors will have the opportunity this year to enjoy the processional processions and some transfers of the Holy Week of Totana sitting in the seats enabled in the stands that are going to be installed in the Puente Street of this town, whose full collection will be destined to fund projects of the Association of Parents of People with Intellectual Disabilities (Padisito).
The Councilor for Culture, Eulalia Moreno, the president of the Illustrious Superior Cabildo of Processions, José Ramón Peñalver, and the president of the Padisito Association, Toñi Cánovas, have presented this initiative with which they want to offer a new service to people who want to contemplate the processions of Holy Week in a comfortable and reference place.
The seats will be available in the processions of Holy Tuesday, Holy Wednesday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Sunday of Resurrection, as well as on the morning of Holy Thursday when the transfers of the images to the parish of Santiago are celebrated.
The price of the seats is 3 euros for each procession and the possibility of taking a bonus is offered at the price of 10 euros for all the processions.
The point of sale is the Tourist Office (next to the Senior Center), from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
A total of 272 seats will be installed between March 25 and April 2, of which 172 locations will be placed next to Santander Bank and 100 next to the monument to the Nazarene of Totana, being the control of access to the stands (capacity) and its management responsibility of the organizer.
The promoters encouraged neighbors and foreigners to enjoy the experience of contemplating the processional processions from this perspective because this service supposes a plus of quality and contributes to collaborate in the maintenance of the programs offered by Padisito to the users of this association.
