The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed the operation 'BRACO', an investigation aimed at locating a hunting dog that had been stolen from a farm in Totana , which has culminated with the recovery of the dog in a domestic kennel located in the peña lorquina de Aguaderas.
A person has been investigated as an alleged perpetrator of the crime of theft.
The investigation began when the Civil Guard became aware of the theft of a hunting dog from a farm in Totana.
Specialists of the Nature Protection Service of the Civil Guard (SEPRONA) ordered the inspection of several zoological nuclei that could house dogs of the breed described by the owner ('German Braco').
These researches led the researchers to a farm located in the municipality of Lorca, about 22 km.
from the place where the animal was stolen, where SEPRONA troops located a domestic kennel with several hunting dogs.
The civil guards checked the animals, a dozen dogs of the breed 'German Braco', which allowed to locate a female, of similar characteristics to the missing, whose microchip number coincided with that of the stolen animal.
The Benemérita concluded that the distance to which the animal was from its place of subtraction, could hardly have been traveled by the dog.
The operation 'BRACO' has culminated with the investigation of proceedings as investigated to a person to whom the alleged authorship of crime of theft is attributed.
The recovered animal has been returned to its rightful owner.
The investigated and the diligences instructed have been made available to the Court of Instruction of Lorca (Murcia).
