"A summons to denounce the inequalities, discriminations and structural violence suffered by more than half of the world's population, women"
Next March 8, International Women's Day, the feminist movement with the support of political organizations and social and trade union groups, calls a general strike of women throughout our geography
A call to denounce the inequalities, discriminations and structural violence suffered by more than half of the world population, women, but also to demand a new social model, fair, democratic and egalitarian.
A feminist strike against a capitalist and patriarchal system that allows the structural inequalities suffered by women to reach such levels of gravity and dimension, that it is unavoidable to take the streets, institutions and work centers to demonstrate that without them or these the world falls, the world stops.
Throughout the world, women earn only between 60 and 75 percent of men's wages in jobs of equal value.
In the Spanish State, the work devoted by women to households, to care and reproduction reaches 53% of GDP, which means that the State places in women a large part of what should be attended to through the public services.
The continuous murders of women, which should result in a frontal rejection of this unacceptable reality, that consolidates the construction of an anti patriarchal culture to eradicate this systemic violence in the lives of women.
For these and many more reasons, from Ganar Totana we encourage all women to join the feminist strike next Thursday, March 8.
Make visible your support for equality.
