The Local Government Board has recently approved the proposal of the Councilor for Culture, Eulalia Moreno, to sign a collaboration agreement with the neighbor Francisco José Miras Martínez, under which the City Council will host the temporary assignment of a painting by King Felipe VI , property of this one, in an outstanding space of reference in the municipal dependencies, that is to determine, coinciding with the Centennial of the City this year.
The aim is to place the painting, whose work is by the painter Antonio Navarro Menchón, during the remainder of 2018 so that it can be part of the commemorative activities scheduled this year on the occasion of this event.
This neighbor gave it to the mayor, Andrés García, last Friday after approving this agreement in the Local Government Board and formalizing the collaboration agreement that sets the rules governing the transfer of possession of the painting, of his property.
