The Canine Unit of Civil Protection in Totana participated last weekend in the III Cycle Workshop of Search, Rescue and Detection organized in Massanassa (Valencia), organized by "Scank9" and "Maskokotas".
The conferences have been held from 21 to 24 February and have involved units from different parts of the Spanish geography, highlighting those of the Military Emergency Unit (UME), as well as groups of Civil Protection and Firefighters from different places.
During these, the participating pairs worked side by side in different scenarios, simulating real emergencies, located between the provinces of Valencia and Alicante.
According to sources of Civil Protection, these exercises are not the specialty of the unit totnaero, but were satisfactorily resolved all the exercises.
During the days, the works were developed in large areas, where Totana's group managed to find the victims located within their grid, all with canine help.
In short, a few successful days in which the Canine Civil Protection Unit in Totana has been able to learn and learn different methods of work, always in order to improve and be more operational.
