More than forty professionals belonging to the Association of Official Guides of the Region of Murcia visited yesterday the Argaric site of La Bastida, which was framed in a day organized by the Tourist Qualification Center.
This included a tour of different tourist spots of Lorca, leaving all afternoon to learn from the hand of the archaeologists responsible for the dissemination of the site the particularities of the site of La Bastida.
The replica of the Argaric house, the site in its musealized part and the imposing wall captivated the professionals, who manifested the extraordinary tourist value of the site.
During the tour all the curiosities and doubts raised by the guides referring to the Argaric culture, the identity of the site and the modalities of visits, workshops, and hours offered to know it were explained.
This visit is framed in the plan of promotion and diffusion of the deposit of La Bastida, carried out by the Councils of Archaeological Sites and Tourism along with the rest of activities that are developed in the facilities of La Bastida as are the theatrical visits, workshops for educational centers / associations / groups of individuals that request them and visits to the general public.
