More than 200 schoolchildren from six schools in Totana participate in the activity of reading animation "El Tesoro del Pirata", promoted by the technical staff of the municipal library "Mateo García", according to sources from the Department of Culture.
The activity concluded last week and a total of 212 students from the second year of Primary Education from the schools "San José", "Comarcal-Deitania", "La Milagrosa", "Tierno Galván", "Santa Eulalia "and" Santiago ".
The participating students have been able to enjoy the game proposed by an old reader pirate who had forgotten the titles of the classic stories he had read.
Once the titles of the stories are guessed, they are given a coin with the title of the story, which is distributed so that they can read it.
This activity is valued very positively by the teachers since it favors the oral narration, activate the memory, the participation of the children, among other aspects.
