The Holy Totana hosted on Saturday February 3 the South Zone Conference on School Sports Orientation, organized by the General Directorate of Sports of the Region of Murcia, with the collaboration of the Department of Sports of the City of Totana, where they participated a total of 171 school children from all points of the Region of Murcia.
Schoolchildren belonged to the categories juvenile, infant, cadet and juvenile, both in male and female.
In addition, he highlighted the large participation totanera, with 30 students belonging to the schools of La Cruz, Reina Sofía, San Jose, Juan de la Cierva and Prado Mayor.
Regarding the results of the totaneros, highlighted the first place achieved by Alba Martinez Ibanez (Juan de la Cierva), and Ania Lopez Blaya (Queen Sofia) in the categories female and female juvenile respectively.
The best results from the rest of the local participation were the following: Juan Tejedor Reverte (Reina Sofia), 3rd in male alevín;
Héctor Cánovas Cánovas (Juan de la Cierva), 4th in male children;
Marta Martínez Barceló (Juan de la Cierva), 2nd in female children;
Luís Alejandro Jiménez (Juan de la Cierva), 8th in male cadet;
and María Molino Castillo (Prado Mayor), 2nd in Female Cadet.
The best qualified in this day will also have the opportunity to participate in the Regional End of School Sports Orientation, organized by the General Directorate of Sports of the Region of Murcia, and will take place on Saturday March 10, in Calasparra.
