The councilors of Citizen Participation and Youth, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez and Inma Blázquez, have recently met with representatives of the new local youth collective "Algarrobo Kolectiv" and "Ministers of the Air" in order to maintain a first contact that would allow to know about first hand his projects of youth dynamism and future concerns.
The municipal officials visited the facilities of the social establishment located in the urbanization "El Parral", which has been recently ceded for use and self-management to the youth groups "Algarrobo Kolectiv" and "Ministers of the Air".
The objective of this new entity is to generate a transformative dynamic in the municipality of Totana through actions and activities based on solidarity, respect for the environment and the fight for equality in its broadest sense.
"Ministers of the Air" already has many years of experience and travel in the organization of events and activities, while "Algarrobo Kolectiv" is a newly created association whose first activity was a campaign to collect toys for children in situations of social exclusion last Christmas.
From both councils, we want to recognize and appreciate the involvement of these groups in the development of projects and initiatives in the pursuit of activities and leisure resources and free time alternative that will be made known through the programs of the Department of Youth of the Totana City Council.
Councilwoman Youth has explained that the City plans to offer these entities technical support and everything possible to carry out its work of youth dynamization.
