Associations of women of the Municipal Council of Equality of Totana and the Federation of Women's Organizations of Lorca met on January 18 in the plenary hall of the totanero City Council in order to unify criteria and coordinate joint actions on equality.
The councilor for Women and Equal Opportunities, Eulalia Moreno, was present at the meeting, as well as municipal technicians and representatives of women's associations from both municipalities.
The women totaneras could ask, suggest and know first hand what the Federation of Lorca does in relation to the criteria that this entity follows to agglutinate associations in that entity, how the programs and activities are subsidized, and acts that promote on the occasion of the Day International Conference on Gender Violence or Equal Opportunities, respectively.
The councilwoman of Women of Totana explained that "we have to work together for the rights, empowerment and equality of women, so we will have to form between all 'a great alliance', a unit that makes us stronger" .
The meeting ended with a group dynamic where the women participants expressed themselves freely;
and that served as therapy for all, ending with a big smile, highlighting that "Who loves you well, will make you laugh".
