The Councilor for Human Resources, Gertrudis Maria Ruiz, reported that the City of Totana has paid municipal public employees, along with the payroll corresponding to the month of December, all outstanding amounts of the extraordinary payment of the year 2012, which was pending payment.
In this way, the municipal government has made effective to the entire municipal staff the payment of all the amounts that were missing from the extra of 2012, which was almost 75% what was pending, as specified.
The mayor recalled that on July 13, 2012, the Government of the Nation adopted Royal Decree Law 20/2012, BOE of July 14, which in its second article suspended the extraordinary payment to all staff of the City, both staff as a work
In September 2015, also by Royal Decree 10/2015, the recovery of the extraordinary payment was approved, although this payment was conditional on the financial situation permitting it;
and until now a part had been paid, leaving almost 75% of the extra 2012 to be paid.
The Human Resources councilor explained that "it has been now, in this month of December, thanks to the work carried out by the Department of Intervention in coordination with the Human Resources, when it has been able to restore this right to all employees public affected by this measure, fulfilling with this one of the commitments of this government team, that the employees were recovering the rights that had been taken from them in their day ".
