The Councilor for Culture of the City of Totana, Eulalia Moreno, delivered last night the prize to the winner of the III Christmas Showcase Contest, which this year has corresponded to the "Florist Pierrot" of this town, and is endowed with a single prize of 100 euros
The aim of the contest was, as in previous editions, to promote the creativity of merchants when presenting their establishments and products during these Christmas holidays, so that they are more attractive for neighbors and customers, which they contribute to creating a special festive atmosphere, in these dates so marked, in the streets of the municipality.
In the contest could participate all those commercial establishments located in the municipality of Totana, regardless of the product offered to the consumer.
According to the bases of the contest, the decoration of the shop windows had to be directly related to the proper atmosphere of the Christmas holidays, valuing aspects such as artistic creation (originality, ingenuity and artistic wealth);
Used materials;
composition and effort and industriousness in the execution of the works.
The jury made the visits to the registered establishments, the last days 19 and 20 of December, in the commercial opening hours.
This was chaired by the councilor of the branch, Eulalia Moreno, and composed of the experts Arantzazu Campos Saiz and Lorenzo Moreno Montero, respectively.
