The sanitation and paving works of the central street Cánovas del Castillo are scheduled to end in mid-January, so that immediately following its completion, those of the Cañada Zamora that will continue from this date until the end of February approximately.
The Department of Infrastructure and Water and Sewerage are jointly executing these actions included in the Regional Action Plan for the Promotion of Works and Municipal Services (PARDOS), which is financed by the Autonomous Community for the year 2016.
In Cánovas del Castillo Street there is a section of the sewer works of about 50 or 60 meters and the asphalting and horizontal signs of this road.
These works have led to the subsequent cutting of the road and temporary ban on access to garages by neighbors and users since they began in the middle of last November.
The actions are consisting of the renovation of the supply and sanitation networks in about three hundred meters of this street and the paving of it, with a length of 230 meters;
and have an investment of 108.00 euros from the regional executive.
The PARDOS included the works to improve Cánovas del Castillo and Cañada Zamora streets and the collection and evacuation of the rainwater from Teniente Pérez Redondo Street to the Arcos ravine, which had already been carried out two months ago.
In the case of Calle Cánovas del Castillo, it is planned to completely renew the supply and sanitation network;
while the Cañada Zamora street will be conditioned, in a first phase, to García Alix street for 120,000 euros.
In addition, the PARDOS for 2016 also included the rehabilitation of the children's playground of the municipal park "Marcos Ortiz", in which the Community contributed 74,500 euros of the total 82,700 that the work imported, and which is already open to the public .
