Children, youth and adults have participated in various awareness-raising activities aimed at increasing awareness and prevention of gender violence.

The children participating in the activities of reinforcement and educational leisure worked on this theme by holding a workshop called "With my hands I can ...".

The children drew the silhouettes of their hands, decorated them with their own details and wrote positive aspects they can do with them such as;

caress, pamper, send kisses ... Finally with all hands they made a purple bow, in commemoration of the day against gender violence.

This resource where activities of educational reinforcement and leisure and free time with minors of the municipality of Totana are developed, is framed within the Program of Socio-educational Intervention with Families and Minors in Social Disadvantaged Situation, subsidized by the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia in collaboration with the City Council and the educational centers of the municipality.

The young participants of the project "Labor 2.0: Youth Guarantee" and participants of the project "Labor: a step towards employability", received on November 23 at the Social Center of San Roque, in the municipality of Totana, a formative talk by part of the techniques of the Center of Specialized Care for Women Victims of Gender Violence (CAVI) of the municipality of Totana , to which we thank them from here their involvement and collaboration with the entity.

The participants, men and women, were able to reflect through videos, dynamics, participatory activities, ... in aspects related to the importance of good treatment and gender equality.

In addition, they were informed of existing resources and ways of acting in situations of gender violence.

Through the Labor Projects, actions of socio-labor orientation, group training workshops, training in gender equality and opportunities, occupational training, visits to companies, leisure activities and free time are carried out ... all aimed at achieving insertion of young people and participants, in order to improve their employability.

The project "Labor 2.0: Youth Guarantee", aimed at young people, who in addition to meeting the requirements of the project, have ages between 16 and 29 years, who are not working, or studying, or doing any training at this time , is financed by the European Social Fund, within the framework of the Youth Employment Operative Program (2016-2020) and by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia and the project "Labor: a step towards employability" is financed by the Fund European Social in 80% and by the Murciano Institute of Social Action in 20%.
