The first mayor of Totana, Andrés García Cánovas, has issued a Mayor's Award referring to various aspects related to the sporting practice of colombicultura in the municipality of Totana in relation to the behavior of pigeon owners.
The side has been drafted at the request of the Society of Colombicultura de Totana, on the application of the Law 3/2011, of March 25, of Protection and Regulation of the Sports Practice of the Colombicultura and the Colombofilia.
In it, the prohibition of the flight of pigeons not destined to practice sports during the celebration of official training, competitions and competitions, colombicultures and peacophiles, within the calendar of sports competitions in the 2017/2018 season is remembered.
The violation of this flight ban is typified as a serious infraction in the aforementioned Law, and will be punishable in accordance with the corresponding regulations.
In addition, warns of the obligation for those who pick up a sport pigeon or a carrier pigeon to deliver it to this City Council, or to the Federation or the corresponding Colombicultura or Colombofilia Societies.
