As explained by the mayor, Totana needs extraordinary measures by the Ministry since it presents a complicated situation in the long term to be able to cope with this situation, since the financial debt has increased due to the fall of most of the agreements urbanistic since the financing that existed had to be made for the payment of the sentences originated by these.
The mayor has reiterated that, as has been mentioned on several occasions, the City of Totana needs the appropriate authorization to be able to meet its debt not 10 or 20 years, but conditions to 35 or 40 years rather.
Andrés García explained that after the communication made by the Ministry to work together with the FEMP on the financing system for local entities, the municipality of Totana needs the support of the Federation of Municipalities given the economic situation we have.
The representatives of the Totana City Council thanked the attention that was expressed and the interest of collaboration by the representatives of the FEMP in relation to the Totanero Consistory.
The City of Totana will have as objective in the economic area the extension of the payment period of the financial debt, since the services to the citizens and to the whole of the municipality can not be diminished by the payment of the existing financial debt, has specified the mayor.
