The Mayor, Andrés García, and the Councilor for Youth, Inmaculada Blázquez, have handed out the prizes of the XIV Drawing Contest organized by the City of Totana on the occasion of the celebration of International Children's Rights Day '2017.
The ceremony was held in the plenary hall at the end of the II Children's Plenary Session in Totana, where the new mayor, Mario Sánchez, was elected and the Children's Municipal Corporation was set up.
The contest was aimed at students of 4th and 5th year of Primary Education of the educational centers of Totana;
and in the same six prizes are awarded in vouchers for the purchase of school supplies.
The jury was chaired by the Councilor for Youth and formed, as a vocalist, by Francisco Salcedo García, respectively.
The winners were Álvaro Ruiz Cabrera, 4th year of the CEIP "Santa Eulalia" (prize 50 euros), Lucía Valenzuela Alcaraz, 5th year of the School "La Milagrosa" (50 euros) and Erica Abellaneda Lorca, 5th year of the CEIP "La Cruz".
Other winners were Marina Paredes Cava, of the 4th year of the CEIBAS "Guadalentín" of El Paretón-Cantareros (30 euros), Lorena López López, of the 5th year of the CEIP "Deitania" (30 euros) and María Nevado López, of 5 ° CEIP course "Santiago" (30 euros).
