The Local Government Board of the City of Totana has recently approved the conditions of the draw of the "Real Mailbox" to participate in the Cabalgata de los Reyes Magos'2018, which will remain in the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel", from November 23 to 15 December, according to sources from the Department of Culture.
This initiative has been developing in Totana for some years now in the face of the demand of children to participate as pages in the traditional parade of the Three Kings' procession, backed by parents of the municipality.
One more year the need arises to make a raffle to select from among all the children who wish to attend it, who will be able to participate in the aforementioned Cavalcade.
The Real Mailbox will be installed, from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. during the aforementioned dates.
Only children between 6 and 12 years of age can submit an application, so that whoever submits more than one petition will be automatically eliminated from the draw.
Those selected must be dressed as pagers with suits of their property according to this Spanish Christmas tradition, since the organization will not provide the costumes.
The draw will be public and will be held on December 18, at 6:00 pm, at the Socio-Cultural Center "La Cárcel" in this town.
