The Local Government Board of the City of Totana has recently approved the proposal of the councilman of Celebrations, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, to sign a collaboration agreement with the Brotherhood of the Kiss of Judas and Jesus Traspasado to organize the traditional hot chocolate in the area of ​​La Santa during the morning of December 8, before the beginning of the pilgrimage of the Santa Eulalia patron saint from Mérida to the city.
The totanero Consistory is committed to provide technical support, infrastructure and equipment necessary for the development of this activity object of the aforementioned agreement;
as well as to collaborate with a maximum contribution of 2,000 euros to finance the expenses derived from this festive activity.
For its part, the Brotherhood will prepare and serve that day the chocolate and will distribute the necessary biscuits for a total of 1,400 people;
At the same time, it must comply with the necessary and consequent hygienic and sanitary conditions required by the application of the agreement.
