The Orientation Club of Totana has organized an interesting training activity on Saturday, November 18, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Socio-cultural Center "La Cárcel", as is the "Sports and Health" talk, which goes directed to the athletes of all the clubs of this locality.
The Councilor for Sports, Isabel María Molino, the president of the Local Orientation Club, Salvador Martínez Cánovas, and the secretary of the Murcia Orientation Federation, José Antonio Galián, recently presented this activity, which is free until full capacity is reached in the auditorium. audiovisuals of said cultural infrastructure.
This initiative has the collaboration of the Department of Sports and the Murcia Orientation Federation, respectively.
The talk will address three major issues that affect the practice of competition athletes, federated or fans in general, such as physiotherapy, nutrition and biomechanics.
The activity will have the intervention of three speakers, one for each of the areas, such as: Rogelio Diz (graduated by the UCAM in Physiotherapy and specialist in sports physiotherapy, current physiotherapist UCAM CB Murcia), Juan Antonio Andreo (graduated by the UMU in Nutrition and Dietetics and sports nutrition specialist) and Diego Mula (graduated by UIC in Orthoprothesics and specialist in biomechanics).
During the talk will address basic questions and doubts that athletes have in their behaviors and actions in training and competitions both professionally and amateur level in order to respond to questions and concerns of the daily sports practice.
The promoters encouraged the athletes of Totana to attend this initiative that has been organized before the demand of many athletes from different disciplines in this municipality, and which is organized within the "Sports and Health" program that the Murcian Federation is organizing and the General Directorate of Sports.
At present, the Orientation Club of Totana has about 60 members.
For its part, the Murcia Orientation Federation has 20 clubs, with 500 national licenses and 1,500 school and promotion.
