The Department of Services to the City and Infrastructure of the City of Totana is planting during these days more than 30 new mulberry trees to complete the parterres that were empty on both sides of the ravine of La Santa within the urban area.
The action is taking place in several areas of the promenade as it passes through the urban area of ​​this city, in virtue of the work being carried out by workers hired in the framework of the memories of the program of the County Councils.
The trees are being placed in different parterres on both sides of the promenade: from the Cruz de los Hortelanos bridge to the Kabuki roundabout, and on the margin that communicates from the monument to the "Potter of Totana" in the Calle Don José María- to the arch of San Pedro de las Ollerías.
This performance has an approximate budget of 1,100 euros, as reported by the councilor of the branch, Víctor Balsas, who added that within these works have also conditioned the parterres that surround the roundabout of the Kabuki in order to condition vegetation area of ​​so much traffic of pedestrians and vehicles.
The mayor has underlined the effort being made from the Department of Parks and Gardens of the City to fix and improve progressively and within budget possibilities many public spaces that had a deplorable state or abandonment in different neighborhoods and districts of Totana .
