The Department of Economic Development, Development and Employment and Industry of the City of Totana has launched from the Center for Local Development the course "Cleaning open spaces in industrial facilities", with a total of 210 hours, of which 80 are of internships in companies.
The course has been inaugurated by the mayor, Andrés García, the councilor for Programs, Promotion and Employment, Antonia Camacho, and the professor of the same, Antonio Martínez Vivancos, in the classrooms of the Local Development Center, located in the industrial area "El Saladar ".
This is structured in 3 independent modules and a workshop of resources for job search (15 hours), whose contents are: first module of Cleaning of open spaces (50 hours);
second module on Cleaning in industrial facilities and equipment (80 hours) and third module of non-work professional practices in companies (80 hours).
The course has started today and the schedule is from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
These people already trained, will be seen as professionals who can develop their professional activity in public administration and private sector companies, in the area of ​​road and industrial cleaning.
In addition, they will be integrated into work teams and will depend functionally on the responsible superior.
They will be able to stand out in trades such as: street sweeper, garbage man-trash collector, sewer maintenance worker, road and related cleaning operator and waste collection worker.
The initiative is free and has been granted to the City of Totana under a grant from the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia (SEF), also counting with the European Social Fund (ESF) and raising said subsidy to the amount of 12,675 euros, plus 750 euros for the Employment Search Resources Workshop, both subsidized 100%.
To access as a student this training action of professional qualification level 1, it is necessary to be over 45 years old and to be registered in the offices of the SEF as long-term unemployed (1 year or more registered as unemployed).
