The Security and Emergency device organized to celebrate the "All Saints Day" starts today and will continue until this Thursday, November 2, coinciding with the celebration of the traditional Mass of Souls (5:00 pm);
and will have around thirty Local Police and Civil Protection officers in several shifts.
According to sources from the Department of Citizen Security and Emergencies, a total of 26 Local Police officers are expected to participate in the device in morning and afternoon shifts, so that in some shifts there will be more than one patrol in the area.
The Local Police patrols will remain in the immediate vicinity of the "Nuestra Señora del Carmen" municipal cemetery during these coming days in order to provide coverage for this traffic and security service in the area.
In addition, the device will also have a dozen Civil Protection volunteers, who coordinated by Local Police, will perform control tasks of vehicle and pedestrian access in parking spaces and access roads to and from the cemetery.
The regular bus line will reinforce and extend its service as usual these days and will make a stop every 20 minutes approximately in the municipal cemetery for those people who want to use urban transport can do so.
On the other hand, in recent weeks, both the Department of the Cemetery and the workers of the service concessionaire have carried out numerous works of conditioning and improvement of the cemetery in order to have it in the best possible conditions in the coming days.
Among these, they have highlighted the work of gardening at the entrance of the cemetery, the cleaning of the ravine that surrounds the cemetery that is used for parking during these days, change of taps in the enclosure, the improvement of the entrance for the disabled and deep cleaning of all spaces.
In addition, a wheelchair service will be provided on November 1 and 2 for disabled persons;
and from the Councilor, the neighbors are invited to the traditional Mass of Souls in the Municipal Cemetery that will be held on Thursday afternoon, starting at 5:00 p.m.
Once celebrated the day of Las Animas, on November 2, will be able to restart the works that had been pending or are going to be executed inside the cemetery.
During this period of time, access to all types of vehicles is restricted for placement of flowers at the following times: October 31, 6 to 8 hours;
from 14 to 15 hours and from 19 to 23 hours;
and days 1 and 2 of November: from 6 to 8 hours, respectively.
