This morning the Rural Women and the Association of Irrigators of El Raiguero have participated in the forum PROAGUA of Alicante with the communities of irrigators of this area, of Almeria, the president of Scrats and Asaja with its president: Eladio Aniorte, as reported from the totanera association.
They point out that it was the first time that representatives of small and medium farmers are invited to sit in a water forum.
Water has been debated there and several proposals have been made.
The Rural Women's Associations and the Irrigation Association of El Raiguero want to give public thanks to the community of irrigating irrigators of Levante and Asaja Alicante, "where they have understood and understand that women are an active part of this society".
