Firefighters from the Consortium for the Extinction of Fire and Rescue of the Region of Murcia have put out the fire declared this morning in a flat in Totana, in which there has been no regret for personal injuries and whose reasons are unknown.
The 1-1-2 received calls, at 9.28 hours, informing that they saw much black smoke coming out of the windows of a first floor of a 3-floor building located at the corner of Doctor López Aranguren and Doctor López Ibor streets, in the area of ​​the Convent of the Three Hail Marys.
To the place mobilized firemen of the CEIS (8 firemen, sergeant and 4 vehicles of extinction), patrols of the Local Police and Civil Guard of Totana, members of Civil Protection of the City council of Totana and an ambulance with sanitary personnel of the Management of Emergencies and Sanitary Emergencies 061.
Until the place of the event the mayor, Andrés García Cánovas, and the local police officer, Alfonso Canales, among other members of this Corps, have moved.
The firefighters have put out the fire, which started in the living room and has affected the whole house and they have returned to their base at 11.40 am.
The toilets have been removed without treating any injured.
