The Disability Day Centers of the City of Totana have recently resumed the Garden Workshop that they have been carrying out as part of their occupational program, according to sources from the Department of Social Welfare.
This workshop, which takes place in the facilities of the Municipal Nursery, has the collaboration of the totanera company "Viveros Bermejo".
Through this collaboration, the Day Centers for Disability of the City of Totana receive the necessary material that is used in carrying out the tasks of gardening.
On the occasion of the beginning of this new season and the start of the new 2017/2018 academic year, users and professionals of the Day Center for People with Psychological Disabilities "José Moyá" and the Day Center for People with Mental Illness of the City of Totana visited the facilities of "Viveros Bermejo", where they were received by the head of this totanera company, Juan Bermejo.
In the course of the day, users gave the Bermejo family a gift made by them in the carpentry workshop to later go on a tour of the facilities of the nursery, knowing and admiring the work that takes place daily .
At the end of the visit, Juan Bermejo delivered a new batch of peat, pots and plants;
a disinterested donation, which will allow Totana Day Disability Centers to give continuity to this important occupational workshop with important pre-employment and rehabilitation objectives.
From the Day Centers for Disability of the City of Totana want to thank the selfless collaboration of "Viveros Bermejo".
