Representatives of the Municipal Government team of the City Council of Totana have recently met with members of the Taxi Association in this locality in order to learn firsthand the most important demands and claims that this professional sector has in the municipality.
The mayor, Andrés García, the first deputy mayor, Juan José Cánovas, Transport Councilor Gertrudis Ruiz, and the mayor of Security and Citizen Participation, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, attended the meeting in which they also learned about the future projects of the taxi drivers to improve the quality of the service that is being provided.
Totana taxi professionals sent representatives of the municipal government requests such as the implementation of a switchboard to replace the existing one and to coordinate the services, the repainting of the horizontal signage in some roads of the urban helmet and the replacement of the signage that is deteriorated, among other matters.
At present, Totana has a total of six licenses for the performance of this public service in the municipality.
