Last October 13 the Popular Group of Totana presented a motion to the full for the Government Team to repair the stone benches of the Glorieta del Convento, which has been withdrawn by the Mayor of the call.
The Popular Party denounces the authoritarian and arbitrary way of Governing the Lord Mayor by removing motions presented by the Popular Municipal Group with the excuse that they are requests.
On October 13, Grupo Popular submitted, within a deadline, a motion urging the relevant Council to carry out the rehabilitation of artificial stone benches located in the Glorieta del Convento because of the poor condition in the which are found, this motion has not been included in the convocation of the plenary by an interpretation of the Lord Mayor, who has considered it as a plea.
This motion was presented to the full because we consider that since the Government Team has fallen in the most desidia the Municipality and taking into account that the date of the catechesis was approaching, it was important to carry out this rehabilitation in order that no accident could occur that we would later regret.
The surprise of the Popular Group was that the Mayor has decided not to insert this motion, requested by the Group as such, because it considers it a plea, in this way the Mayor states that it is uncomfortable for the Popular Party to carry out its opposition work and to make manifest in the Plenary those things that the Government Team has to improve for the good of the People of Totana.
It is clear that the transparency and consensus that have been so widely praised in the campaign are absent.
This is the second time that the Covenant Government Team restricts the possibility of presenting motions by the Popular Group and with this excuse of Mr. Mayor everything that is to improve the Municipality of Totana could consider it as a plea, as well as the Covenant Team could make some very quiet plenary sessions without opposition groups being able to express Totana's needs.
We asked Mr. Mayor why he does not consider as petition the motions presented by his Group to the Autonomous Community to request that any action be taken by this Administration in our Municipality, in this case does he like his team put motions to claim the immediate performance of any Counseling.
Therefore, we ask Mr. Alcalde not to confront the requests for improvement made by the PP, from his opposition function, to the Government Team even if it is not to his liking that we indicate all those things that have abandoned our People.
They no longer remember when full after full by the Socialist Group they were bringing all the gardens of the municipality so that they were cleaned, arranged etc ... we return to say that it is not the same "run as to flee".
From the PP we remind Mr. Mayor that we will continue to claim, as is our mission, all those aspects that we consider necessary to solve our people, even if it is not of their convenience, as they reveal their total incompetence.
At least we have seen that following the denunciation of the state of the banks, the Mayor has taken measures and designed them to avoid major evils, although we continue to request the immediate settlement of them.
