The City Council of Totana will celebrate next Tuesday, October 10, an institutional event to commemorate World Mental Health Day with the reading of a manifesto in the plenary hall (11:00 hours) and a later meeting between users, professionals and family in the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja.
These events will be attended by users and professionals of the Day Center for Persons with Mental Illness of Totana, municipal authorities, representatives of primary health care and Mental Health Lorca, and students and teachers of secondary education centers in this municipality .
The so-called "Meeting for Mental Health" will be held from 12:30 p.m. in the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja, and during the event, stories, activities and meetings with citizens will be organized.

In addition, the program of events organized within the "Mental Health Month" organized by the Consistorio totanero includes on November 3 a talk under the title "Comprehensive program of care for people with severe mental disorder" (11:00 hours), in charge of technicians of the Center of Mental Health of Lorca-Area of ​​Health III, in the Center of Day for People with Mental Illness.
On November 11 will be held the talk "Healthy-Mind-Happy" and the presentation of the book "Healing Stories" by the psychologist Aurelia García, in the "La Cárcel" Sociocultural Center.
Likewise, during the month of October there will be talk of awareness in different secondary education centers in Totana, and the representation of the play "El mago Paparajote" at the IES "Juan de la Cierva" by the theater group of the Day Center "L @ s imaginativ @ s".
