Last Saturday, September 30th, the XVII edition of the Charca Grande, a race organized by the Athletics Club of Totana, was celebrated in this edition and more than 200 participants participated.
69 were enrolled in the senderista test, parallel test that this year celebrated its fourth edition.
The first to cross the finish line was Andres Lario of the Athletic Club "Puertas Lorca" with a time of 28 minutes and 54 seconds, second came Alejandro Jiménez of "Entrenos Trialexrun", and thirdly Fausto López of "Club Triathlon Tragamillas "of Orihuela.
In the women's category the gold went to Mayte Vera athlete of the Athletic Club "Puertas Lorca" with a time of 33 minutes and 18 seconds, the second place went to Lourdes Heredia of "La Ventanica" and the third place went to M. Carmen Martinez athlete of the "Cex Cartagena".
The first athlete of the CAT to cross the finish line was our companion Carlos Ballester occupying the seventh position of the general and first in category Veteran B. It followed Edu Lucas occupying the eighth position of the general and second in its category Veteran A. third place went to José Carlos González.
The first CAT athlete was Rut Canovas, second in Veterans B. He was followed by Encarni García, third in Veterans B and third came María Teresa Barceló.
As it is traditional the race was closed by CAT athletes, this year they acted as brooms Susi Andreu and Paula Pérez.
