The Councilor for Economic Development of the City of Totana, Antonia Camacho Crespo, recently opened two new courses on "Training for treatments with pesticides pesticides", one of them basic level and the other with a qualified level.
Once again, the Department of Economic Development has implemented, in collaboration with the Union of Small Farmers (UPA), this training in one of the classrooms of the Local Development Center, in the industrial estate "El Saladar".
These are free courses aimed at farmers, farmers, businessmen and professionals in the agricultural sector, as well as anyone who is interested in acquiring or handling phytosanitary products necessary for the maintenance and care of their crops.
At the end of the theoretical classes, the students of basic level have realized a practical test in Librilla;
and in the case of the students of qualified level, will perform two practical tests: one in the classroom, and the other in Librilla.
Also, after completing the practices, students at both levels will take an exam at CIFEA-Lorca.
Course cleaning open spaces industrial facilities
From this Department it is also informed that, soon in the Center for Local Development, a free course will be given for those over 45 years of age who are unemployed for a long period called "Cleaning of open spaces in industrial facilities", on Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a total duration of 210 hours;
of which 80 hours will correspond to the accomplishment of practices in companies of the sector.
Upon completion of this course, students will obtain an Official Certificate of Professionalism, which will allow them to access the following jobs: garbage collector, sweeper, maintenance worker sewerage, road cleaning and related workers, and waste collection.
