Next Friday, September 8, at 6:00 p.m., the three workers of CEPAIM (one of them from Totana) will arrive at the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja, which will travel 2,200 kilometers by bike to raise awareness about the situation of minors displaced persons.

Anyone who wants to participate in this solidarity challenge, starting at 5:30 p.m., will be able to acquire in the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja, solidarity ridges to participate in the tour of the city, for it will have enabled an information tent for this purpose .
Also, throughout the afternoon there will be an exhibition on the reality of refugees called "I Am Refuge."
After the bike tour that finishes in the same Square, a reception will be held by the municipal authorities to the cycling team, where a badge of recognition will be delivered to the City Council for their support of this challenge.
Then there will be a recital concert by various artists from Totana, musicians such as Juan Francisco Esparza, María Sáez, Fernando Nicolás and the poets María Dolores Rodríguez, María José Valenzuela, Juan Ruiz and María José Martínez, who will give the final touch to this solidarity act.
We encourage all those who want to participate, to join in this solidarity ride on the bike in defense of the 12 million refugee children, a particularly vulnerable group, whose initiative has been launched by the three members of CEPAIM who will do the complete tour (from Portugal to France), for which it will only be necessary to buy a rider for 5 euros and that equals 500 pedals.
The funds raised will go to programs for the reception, training and employment of refugees from Spain.
