Due to the increase in population that our municipality has suffered in recent times, this professional can not attend to the population that corresponds to him, which causes an increase in waiting lists and consequent referrals to private clinics.

Another demand is to end the closure of the service during holiday periods, for example, during the month of August the service is closed to the full, since when the physiotherapist takes their vacation, no one comes to replace it.

The service is closed directly, which increases the waiting lists even more and this is detrimental to the service.

For the Socialists it is shown that among the priorities of the PP is not to allocate public resources that allow decent and quality health care for Murcia and Murcia, and totaneros and totaneras.

The PP has for the last 20 years empowering and leaving private initiative to cover the role or purpose that public administrations must do in health matters, this causes discrimination in access and receiving timely health care.

For all of the above, the Socialists of Totana claim the Ministry of Health of the Region of Murcia to adopt the following measures, in the health centers of Totana, in connection with the physiotherapy service:

More machines and instruments for the sessions, in addition to renovating the existing ones, as well as the stretchers.

Hiring at least one full-time physical therapist, to support the only one currently in the Service.

The hiring of an auxiliary to help the physiotherapist in the mobilization and transfer of patients, since on many occasions patients with reduced mobility are left without the necessary care.

Do not close the service during the holiday periods, but rather recruit staff to cover the Service.
