Students of the mixed program of employment and training of "Socio-health Care for Dependent People in Social Institutions" have recently received from the Council of Training Programs of the City of Totana, Antonia Camacho, the diplomas of the "Course of Food Manipulator", of 8 hours long held in the premises of the Center for Local Development of Totana.
The objective of this training is that the members of the PMEF-MY acquire the maximum professional qualification in the social-health field throughout this year to carry out tasks proper to their future occupation.
This course, in particular, in addition to others that are programmed, is essential so that, once their theoretical and practical training is completed, the student-workers have a greater range of employment possibilities in companies from both the public and private sectors.
The costs of this course, and others to be organized later, will be financed by the grant awarded by the Employment and Training Service (SEF) to the City of Totana for the implementation of the mixed employment and training project for seniors.
